Ludo you can start in a few seconds
Ludo is the race game most of us learned on a folding board at a relative's house: four colours, a dice, and a lot of shouting when someone gets sent back to the yard. This is the same game, online. You roll, your token moves, and the room keeps score of who is allowed to do what, so nobody argues about whether that was a six.
How to play with friends
- Tap Play Ludo, then choose Create room and pick 2 or 4 players.
- Share the code or the link. Friends who open the link land in your room.
- Fill empty seats with computer players if you are short, or wait for someone to join.
- The host presses Start and the first roll begins.
How to play with random players
Tap Find players, choose a 2 or 4 player game, and wait a few seconds. When the room fills the game starts by itself. If someone drops out, a computer player takes their seat so the game is not ruined.
The rules in plain words
- Get out of the yard. Roll a 6 to bring a token onto your start square. To keep things fair, your first 6 is guaranteed within your first 6 rolls.
- Race round the board. Move one token forward by the number you rolled, clockwise round the 52 square track.
- Go home. After a full lap your token turns into your own coloured home column, which nobody else can enter. You need the exact number to reach the centre.
- Capture. Land on a lone opponent token and it goes back to its yard. Star squares and start squares are safe, so tokens can share them.
- Roll again. A 6, a capture, or getting a token home gives you another roll. Three 6s in a row cancel your turn.
- Win. Bring all four of your tokens home first. In a four player game play carries on for second and third place.
- Be quick. You have 30 seconds to roll, then the game plays your turn for you. Miss three turns in a row and a computer takes your seat.
Tips that actually help
- Get a second token out early. One token is easy to catch and leaves you with nothing to move.
- Park on star squares when someone is close behind you.
- Keep a token just ahead of an opponent's home column. It is a good place to catch them.
- Don't rush the last token. An exact roll is needed, and overshooting wastes the turn.

Is Ludo free to play?
Yes. Ludo on FunChatX is free, runs in your browser and needs no download or sign-up.
Can I play Ludo with friends?
Yes. Create a room, share the room code or link, and your friends join straight into it. Rooms take 2 or 4 players, and you can add computer players to fill empty seats.
Can I play Ludo with random players?
Yes. Tap Find players, choose a 2 or 4 player game, and the matchmaker puts you in a room with other people online.

What are the Ludo rules here?
Roll a 6 to bring a token out. Move round the 52 square track, go up your own home column, and reach the centre with an exact roll. Land on a lone opponent token to send it back to its yard. Star and start squares are safe. A 6, a capture or a token reaching home gives you another roll.
Can I chat and report someone?
There is room chat (3 messages a minute) and emotes. Tap a player to report them; abusive words are blocked and reports are reviewed by AI, with the moderators as the fallback.
